BRINGING KIT & EQUIPMENT TO CLUB & COMMUNITY
1JERSEY’S AIM IS SIMPLE:
(1)To take KIT and EQUIPMENT to Ghana.
(2)To promote the great game of RUGBY LEAGUE.
(3)To help to give YOUNG PEOPLE, WOMEN & GIRLS and ADULTS in Ghana the opportunity to flourish in sport.
SMALL GESTURES MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE
HOW CAN YOU HELP:
(1)If you have PLAYING KITS (Adults and Youth for now) in good condition, and you’d like to donate them, simply let us know and we will pick them up if we can, arrange collection or you can post it to us.
(2)If you have any BOOTS, NEW BALLS, REFEREES KIT, WHISTLES, BIBS and/or any EQUIPMENT that may help us grow the game and that we can throw in our luggage - WE’LL TAKE IT.
ONE GAME - ONE COMMUNITY
HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST:
Other than your donation of KIT, BOOTS or EQUIPMENT, there is no cost. The project is self funded and if it fits in our luggage - 1JERSEY will take it if we can.
*However - As we’re based in Warrington, unfortunately we may not be able to travel to pick up all items so you can of course post them to us if you wish.
*And - There is also an option for you to post straight to Ghana - if you’d like to do that we can give you the contact address.
*Also - If you would like to sponsor a suitcase/hold all of kit and equipment, you can, we cover all our own costs so every little helps.
Ultimately, we’ll get as much kit and equipment out there as and when we can, and are thankful of any support doing so. We do appreciate that we can’t take it all as offers are so generous so please be patient with us if we don’t get all equipment out this time around.
FOR THE LOVE OF RUGBY LEAGUE
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
The game of Rugby League is rapidly expanding in Ghana. As more players, more clubs and more volunteers engage with the sport, more kit and better equipment will lead to a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Giving fans access to jerseys they may not be exposed to in their day to day lives will help embed the game across the community. Playing games with similar balls seen in the SUPER LEAGUE and/or NRL, and playing/match officials kit that reflects a Rugby League environment will all be key to continuing the games excellent advances in the country so far.
